Today's Food Prices (17/12) in Central Java: Eggs Up, Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (17/12/2025) at 13:54 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 increased and 6 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are broiler chicken eggs and medium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, broiler chicken meat, shallots, curly red chili, and wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken eggs saw the highest increase of Rp74 (0.25%) to Rp29,907 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chili decreased the most by Rp7,851 (11.57%) to Rp60,019 per kg.
