Today's Food Prices in East Java on February 26: Eggs Rise, Red Chili Peppers Fall

Some food commodity prices in East Java today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (February 26, 2026) at 18:05 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 increased and 7 decreased.

Commodities that saw price increases are broiler chicken meat, broiler eggs, beef rump, and bulk palm cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Honan garlic, shallots, bulk granulated sugar, red cayenne pepper, and premium packaged palm cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler egg prices jumped the highest by Rp70 (0.24%) to Rp29,509 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili pepper prices fell the sharpest by Rp1,024 (3.23%) to Rp30,690 per kg.
