Today's Food Prices in Central Java: Onion and Oil Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (11/11/2025) at 09.53 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include curly red chili, pure beef, consumption sugar, packaged cooking oil, and corn at the farmer level.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as frozen buffalo meat (imported), large red chili, red onion, broiler chicken meat, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper commodity saw the highest jump of Rp1,688 (6.22%) to Rp28,826 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fresh local buffalo meat dropped most sharply by Rp144,375 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
