Food Prices in Central Java, Thursday (30/5): What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (30/5/2024) at 17.40 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are skipjack tuna, simple packaged cooking oil, milkfish, bulk wheat flour, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, Indian mackerel, bulk cooking oil, shallots, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase of Rp560 (1.39%) to Rp40,790 per kg. The Indian mackerel experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp1,900 (6.11%) to Rp29,210 per kg.
