The Price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil in Gorontalo is the Highest in Indonesia (Friday, May 5, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of branded packaged cooking oil (1 kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 22,710 per kg, as of Friday, May 5, 2023. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 22,940 per kg.

The daily price of branded packaged cooking oil (1 kg) in modern markets in Gorontalo was the highest in Indonesia, at Rp 26,300 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (1 kg) in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 17,250 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in South Sumatra, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (1 kg) was sold at Rp 25,700 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (1 kg) in South Sulawesi was Rp 25,550 per kg, Maluku Rp 25,000 per kg, and West Papua Rp 24,800 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 18 provinces with branded packaged cooking oil (1 kg) sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for branded packaged cooking oil (1 kg) are Central Sulawesi, Bangka Belitung Islands, and Riau Islands.
