Latest Food Prices in D.I Yogyakarta: Red Chili Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food items in D.I Yogyakarta today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (August 15, 2025) at 2:17 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include Minyakita, bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, consumption sugar, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as pure beef, garlic bulbs, broiler chicken meat, premium rice, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of large red chili increased the most by Rp1,786 (5.09%) to Rp36,857 per kg. The price of garlic bulbs decreased the sharpest by Rp500 (1.63%) to Rp30,231 per kg.
