Today's Food Prices in Lampung: Prices of Chilies, Chicken, and Beef Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (28/12/2024) at 12:19 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, skipjack tuna, medium rice, red chilies, and red cayenne pepper.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, granulated sugar, iodized fine salt, dry soybean (import), and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp3,530 (7.2%) to Rp52,530 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level saw the steepest decrease, down by Rp100 (1.99%) to Rp4,930 per kg.
