Indonesian Food Prices on Friday (5/7): What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be lower than yesterday's.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (5/7/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are Indian mackerel, dry soybean (import), garlic bulb, SPHP rice, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, red chilies, milkfish, iodized fine salt, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of Indian mackerel increased the most by Rp720 (1.95%) to Rp37,640 per kg. The price of iodized fine salt decreased the most by Rp570 (4.97%) to Rp10,900 per kg.
