Today's Food Prices (18/12) in Banten: Eggs Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (18/12/2025) at 16:23 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are Honan garlic and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chili, shallots, curly red chili, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken eggs saw the highest jump of Rp400 (1.3%) to Rp31,200 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili dropped the deepest by Rp3,000 (5.45%) to Rp52,000 per kg.
