West Java Food Prices Today: Sugar Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (19/10/2024) at 13.20 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, chicken eggs, premium rice, dry soybean (import), and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Granulated sugar experienced the highest price increase of Rp250 (1.42%) to Rp17,910 per kg. Red onion prices saw the sharpest decrease of Rp940 (3.55%) to Rp25,520 per kg.
