Today's Food Prices in Jambi Region: Chili and Chicken Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (29/5/2024) at 14:15 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are skipjack tuna, red chilies, milkfish, curly red chilies, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots and garlic decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,310 (4.7%) to Rp51,440 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of shallots saw the lowest decrease of Rp690 (1.74%) to Rp38,920 per kg.
