East Java Food Prices Saturday (November 30th): Salt Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (30/11/2024) at 09.12 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, premium rice, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, Indian mackerel, broiler chicken, red chilies, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp450 (4.75%) to Rp9,920 per kg. Indian mackerel experienced the sharpest price drop, down Rp2,220 (6.7%) to Rp30,920 per kg.
