Indonesia's Food Prices Today: What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (7/5/2024) at 17.22 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, broiler chicken, dry soybean (import), milkfish, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, skipjack tuna, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices increased the most by Rp520 (1.58%) to Rp33,360 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the least by Rp720 (1.5%) to Rp47,210 per kg.
