Daily Price of Red Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets, December 2023-2024

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:44 PM WIB, the daily price of red chili peppers in traditional markets in Lampung Province has not changed compared to the previous day or the last week.

However, over the past month, the daily price of red chili peppers in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp35,750.

Meanwhile, the daily price of red chili peppers in traditional markets in Lampung over the past three months has fallen by 22.09%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of red chili peppers in traditional markets in Lampung Province is traded at Rp36,900.

The highest record for the daily price increase of red chili peppers in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2017 with an increase of 57.69%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in February 2017 with a decrease of -34.61%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Lampung show six commodities decreased and eight increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are granulated sugar, branded packaged cooking oil 1, premium quality granulated sugar, cooking oil, red chili peppers, and chili peppers.
