Food Prices in East Java Today: Buffalo Meat Price Rises, Cayenne Pepper Price Falls

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (November 3, 2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 13 increased and 12 decreased.

Commodities with price increases are large red chili, garlic (whole head), packaged wheat flour, packaged cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler eggs, pure beef, consumption salt, premium rice, and broiler meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Frozen buffalo meat (imported) increased highest by Rp120,000 (inf%) to Rp120,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red cayenne pepper fell deepest by Rp835 (3.81%) to Rp21,093 per kg.
