Yogyakarta's Weekly Food Prices (November 3rd): Cooking Oil Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (3/11/2024) at 13:31 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are dry soybean (import), simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, and kembung fish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic bulbs, broiler chicken meat, red chili peppers, chicken eggs, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour experienced the highest price increase of Rp70 (0.8%) to Rp8,770 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the sharpest price drop of Rp3,480 (10.6%) to Rp29,340 per kg.
