Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (27/5/2024) at 14.52 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, Indian mackerel, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, shallots, dry soybean (import), shallots, and chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp290 (0.96%) to Rp30,390 per kg. Chicken meat had the lowest price decrease of Rp290 (0.79%) to Rp36,560 per kg.
