Current Food Prices in Banten: Rice, Salt, and Oil Prices Increase

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (18/10/2024) at 12.04 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, dry soybean (import), premium rice, medium rice, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, red onions, chicken eggs, granulated sugar, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) experienced the highest price increase of Rp300 (2.76%), reaching Rp11,150 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most sharply by Rp790 (3.29%), reaching Rp23,190 per kg.
