Banten Region Food Prices Friday (25/10): Salt Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (25/10/2024) at 08.47 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, SPHP rice, medium rice, pure beef, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, chicken eggs, red chilies, skipjack tuna, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,110 (10.19%) to Rp12,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most sharply, dropping Rp5,080 (18.76%) to Rp22,000 per kg.

2. Shallot Bulb: Rp40,000 per kg (up 3.76%)
3. Red Chili: Rp40,000 per kg (down 5.88%)
4. Broiler Chicken: Rp38,000 per kg (up 3.29%)
5. Mackerel: Rp35,000 per kg (down 1.57%)
6. Red Onion: Rp30,000 per kg (up 5.34%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (down 8.76%)
8. Milkfish: Rp28,000 per kg (down 13.07%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp26,000 per kg (down 1.14%)
10. Curly Red Chili: Rp22,000 per kg (down 18.76%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp18,000 per kg (up 5.08%)
