Bali Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down (Thursday, April 11, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (11/4/2024) at 13:35 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, shallots, medium rice, farmer-level corn, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk cooking oil, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp4,300 (10.46%) to Rp45,410 per kg. Mackerel experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp1,280 (3.54%) to Rp34,870 per kg.
