Fresh Chicken Meat Prices in North Kalimantan Are the Highest in Indonesia (Friday, June 16, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of fresh broiler chicken (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 42,650 per kg, data as of Friday, June 16, 2023. Overall, the average this week increased compared to last week's average of Rp 42,450 per kg.

The daily price of fresh broiler chicken in modern markets in North Kalimantan was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 42,650 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of fresh broiler chicken in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 38,700 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in South Sulawesi, fresh broiler chicken was sold at Rp 42,650 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of fresh broiler chicken in Central Kalimantan was Rp 42,650 per kg, West Nusa Tenggara Rp 42,650 per kg, and Central Sulawesi Rp 42,650 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 34 provinces with fresh broiler chicken sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for fresh broiler chicken are Riau, Lampung, and West Java.
