Latest Food Prices in Banten Region: Red Chili Prices Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (October 24, 2025) at 1:20 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 13 increased and 9 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include milkfish, Minyakita cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, consumption sugar, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, mackerel, broiler chicken meat, consumption salt, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili saw the highest increase of Rp937 (1.89%) to Rp50,625 per kg. Red bird's eye chili, however, experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp2,083 (5.1%) to Rp38,750 per kg.

9. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp37,190 per kg (down 0.56%)
