Latest Food Prices in Banten, How Much is Red Chili?

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Quoting data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (September 15, 2025) at 11.36 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are consumption salt, curly red chili, dried soybean seeds (imported), broiler chicken meat, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, mackerel, and consumption sugar decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili recorded the highest increase of Rp6,810 (14.16%) to Rp54,910 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices saw the deepest drop of Rp4,441 (12.1%) to Rp32,273 per kg.
