West Papua Chicken Egg Prices Increase by 2.19% in a Week

The price of chicken eggs in West Papua reached Rp 42,000 per kg on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Compared to other regions, this area showed the highest price increase in the last week.

According to daily commodity price monitoring data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, chicken egg prices in West Papua rose 2.19% within a week.

Compared to prices 30 days prior, chicken egg prices in this region increased by 13.51%. Over the past year, the highest price for chicken eggs in modern markets reached Rp 41,400 per kg.

From January to February 2022, chicken egg prices in modern markets continued to rise, increasing by 3.96% compared to the previous month.

Chicken egg prices reached their lowest point at Rp 40,400 per kg on Monday, January 3, 2022. The highest price reached was Rp 42,000 per kg.

Nationally, chicken egg prices began to fall towards the end of 2021. The average price of chicken eggs in modern markets was Rp 29,525 per kg, down 2.8% compared to the previous weekend.
