Jambi Region Food Prices Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (9/8/2024) at 10:53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are mackerel, bulk wheat flour, red chilies, milkfish, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler eggs, granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies surged the highest by Rp2,600 (6.11%) to Rp45,180 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of shallots decreased the most sharply by Rp610 (2.68%) to Rp22,170 per kg.
