Today's Food Price Update in Central Java: Prices of Oil, Onions, and Beef Rise (Sunday, January 28, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (28/1/2024) at 13.14 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged cooking oil, premium rice, bulk cooking oil, tongkol fish, and bandeng fish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, chicken eggs, iodized fine salt, red chilies, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil experienced the highest price increase of Rp120 (0.83%) to Rp14,660 per liter. Red chilies experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp750 (1.36%) to Rp54,370 per kg.
