Today's Food Prices in West Sumatra on March 13: Beef and Onion Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in West Sumatra were observed to increase today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (March 13, 2026) at 15:59 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

Commodities that experienced price increases are shallots, premium packaged palm cooking oil, Honan garlic, beef rump, and bulk palm cooking oil.

Meanwhile, only red cayenne pepper decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Shallots had the highest increase of Rp210 (0.67%) to Rp31,425 per kg. Red cayenne pepper had the sharpest decrease of Rp111 (0.2%) to Rp54,722 per kg.
