Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Prices of Oil, Rice, and Sugar Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 10:08 WIB, out of 22 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include table salt, chicken eggs, broiler chicken meat, pure beef, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, bulk wheat flour, Minyakita, dry soybean (import), and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp9,965 (15.48%) to Rp74,333 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili decreased the most sharply by Rp1,246 (2.68%) to Rp45,333 per kg.
