Food Prices in Banten Today: Red Chili Prices Up, Salt Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (7/11/2025) at 13:20 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 15 increased and 7 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include red onion, consumption sugar, garlic bulbs, kembung fish, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, milkfish, broiler eggs, pure beef, and frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour commodity saw the highest increase of Rp354 (2.97%) to Rp12,275 per kg. Meanwhile, consumption salt prices dropped the sharpest by Rp240 (2.4%) to Rp9,760 per kg.
