Current Food Prices in Aceh: Egg Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (December 3, 2024) at 13:38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, chicken eggs, granulated sugar, pure beef, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, milkfish, iodized fine salt, dry soybean (import), and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Chicken egg prices surged the highest, by Rp190 (0.75%) to Rp25,420 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most sharply, by Rp1,290 (5.02%) to Rp24,390 per kg.
