Today's Food Prices in Aceh: Red Chili, Sugar, and Bird's Eye Chili Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (October 9, 2025) at 3:06 PM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 8 increased and 15 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include skipjack tuna, packaged cooking oil, pure beef, Minyakita, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as fresh buffalo meat (local), packaged wheat flour, dried soybean seeds (imported), consumption sugar, and Indian mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili saw the highest jump of Rp2,500 (2.86%) to Rp90,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chili dropped the most by Rp1,429 (3.23%) to Rp42,857 per kg.
