The price of fresh chicken eggs in Riau Province's modern markets has decreased by 0.7% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in Riau Province's modern markets is recorded at Rp35,400 per kg. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, and similarly, there has been no change in price over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in modern markets has decreased from Rp35,650 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in Riau's modern markets over the past three months has decreased by 1.12%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in Riau Province's modern markets was traded at Rp35,800 per kg.

The highest recorded price increase for fresh chicken eggs in the province's modern markets was in April 2017, with an increase of 63.33%, while the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2017, at -41.46%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Riau today show seven commodities decreased and 11 increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Chicken Meat, Fresh Chicken Meat, Chicken Eggs, Granulated Sugar, and Fresh Chicken Eggs.
