Food Prices Today, December 16 in Jambi: Onion and Cayenne Pepper Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (December 16, 2025) at 17.35 WIB, out of 15 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 2 commodities decreased.

The only commodity that increased in price was curly red chili.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red cayenne pepper and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili commodity recorded the highest increase of Rp3,833 (6.41%) to Rp63,611 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices experienced the sharpest decline of Rp1,500 (3.61%) to Rp40,000 per kg.
