Latest Food Prices in Bali: Prices of Cooking Oil, Chicken, and Salt Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (19/8/2024) at 13.41 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged cooking oil, kembung fish, garlic bulbs, tongkol fish, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, red chilies, farmer-level corn, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Tongkol fish experienced the highest price increase of Rp410 (1.7%) to Rp24,580 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the largest price decrease of Rp120 (2.11%) to Rp5,570 per kg.
