In 2023, the manufacturing sector in Magelang Regency recorded a value of Rp9.63 trillion, ranking first among the 17 sectors. This sector grew by 6.8% compared to the previous year's figure of Rp8.63 trillion.
Following this is the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector, which grew by 0.99% to Rp7.91 trillion, followed by the wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles sector in third place with a GRDP of Rp5.38 trillion (4.6%).
Other sectors contributing to the top five include the education services sector with a GRDP of Rp2.35 trillion.
