Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Rice, Chicken, and Beef Prices Increase

Food prices in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, rose today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 11:32 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 saw price increases and 7 saw decreases.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, pure beef, premium rice, farmer-level corn, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, kembung fish, garlic bulbs, and tongkol fish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn saw the highest price increase, up Rp4,500 (81.82%) to Rp10,000 per kg. Bandeng fish experienced the sharpest price drop, down Rp770 (2.0%) to Rp37,650 per kg.
