Latest Banten Region Food Prices: Prices of Salt, Chilies, and Chicken Rise

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (8/11/2024) at 12:06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, shallots, SPHP rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and Indian mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, milkfish, dry soybean (import), and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil prices surged the highest, by Rp710 (4.64%) to Rp16,010 per liter. The price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most, by Rp440 (5.2%) to Rp8,020 per kg.
