Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Salt Up, Eggs Down (Wednesday, March 27, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (27/3/2024) at 11:16 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, dry soybean (import), granulated sugar, iodized fine salt, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, chicken eggs, premium rice, chicken meat, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp480 (4.99%) to Rp10,090 per kg. Chicken eggs saw the lowest price decrease, dropping by Rp1,360 (4.7%) to Rp27,590 per kg.
