Today's Food Prices in Banten: What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (7/8/2024) at 2:48 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include dried soybean (import), chicken eggs, milkfish, bulk wheat flour, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,710 (6.95%) to Rp26,310 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the largest price decrease of Rp2,290 (2.91%) to Rp76,400 per kg.
