East Java Food Prices Thursday (11/9): Rice Prices Up, Buffalo Meat Down

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

Quoting data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (11/9/2025) at 08.41 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 increased and 17 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were broiler eggs, pure beef, consumption salt, premium rice, and dried soybeans (imported).

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as mackerel, bulk wheat flour, frozen buffalo meat (imported), skipjack tuna, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Farmer-level corn commodity soared the highest by Rp390 (6.57%) to Rp6,329 per kg. The price of frozen buffalo meat (imported) dropped the sharpest by Rp120,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
