Today's Food Price Update in Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Onions, Beef, and Eggs Increase (Saturday, December 16, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 1:27 PM WIB, out of 19 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, garlic cloves, shallots, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic cloves saw the highest price increase of Rp1,200 (3.56%), reaching Rp34,950 per kg. Bulk wheat flour experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp200 (2.05%), reaching Rp9,570 per kg.
