Today's Food Prices (06/2) in West Java: Bird's Eye Chili Rises, Soybean Falls

Some food commodity prices in West Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (February 6, 2026) at 17:28 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased.

Commodities that saw price increases are red bird's eye chili, Minyakita, broiler chicken meat, bulk granulated sugar, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as premium rice, imported soybeans, large red chili, and Honan garlic decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili prices rose the most by Rp1,800 (2.38%) to Rp77,483 per kg. Meanwhile, imported soybean prices fell the deepest by Rp100 (0.74%) to Rp13,493 per kg.

6. Curly Red Chili: Rp36,367 per kg (up 1.39%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp35,683 per kg (down 0.56%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp29,150 per kg (up 1.16%)
9. Premium Packed Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,408 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,995 per liter (unchanged)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,725 per kg (up 1.14%)
12. Minyakita: Rp15,700 per liter (up 0.45%)
