Central Java Food Prices Wednesday (24/4): Chili, Sugar, and Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (24/4/2024) at 15:19 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, farmer-level corn, simple packaged cooking oil, dry soybean (import), and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chili peppers, pure beef, garlic bulbs, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,170 (2.13%) to Rp56,020 per kg. The price of mackerel experienced the lowest decrease of Rp1,610 (5.04%) to Rp30,330 per kg.
