Current Food Prices in West Java: Red Chili, Salt, and Onion Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (October 3, 2025) at 08.48 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 20 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are corn at the farmer level, broiler eggs, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, red onions, packaged cooking oil, dried soybean seeds (imported), and garlic bulbs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Corn at the farmer level saw the highest increase of Rp278 (4.54%) to Rp6,400 per kg. The price of curly red chili experienced the sharpest drop of Rp5,620 (10.01%) to Rp50,526 per kg.
