Latest Indonesian Food Prices: What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (29/4/2024) at 16.51 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 17 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies surged the highest at Rp1,990 (4.4%) to Rp47,220 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chili peppers decreased the lowest at Rp190 (0.39%) to Rp48,280 per kg.
