Latest Food Prices in Jambi: Prices of Sugar, Chilies, and Onions Drop

Food prices in Jambi today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (8/7/2024) at 12:55 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, bulk cooking oil, medium rice, premium rice, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, red chilies, granulated sugar, mackerel, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices saw the highest increase, jumping Rp450 (1.66%) to Rp27,550 per kg. Milkfish prices saw the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp2,430 (8.15%) to Rp27,390 per kg.
