West Java Food Prices Wednesday (10/30): Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (30/10/2024) at 08.05 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 18 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are pure beef, farmer-level corn, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, granulated sugar, Indian mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, and red cayenne pepper decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp350 (6.19%) to Rp6,000 per kg. Red chilies saw the sharpest price drop, falling Rp7,700 (27.8%) to Rp20,000 per kg.
