Today's Food Prices (29/1) in Banten: Chili Up, Onion Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (January 29, 2026) at 16:30 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include bulk palm cooking oil, red onions, curly red chilies, wheat flour, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Minyakita and Honan garlic decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili recorded the highest increase of Rp3,667 (6.11%) to Rp63,667 per kg. Meanwhile, Honan garlic prices experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp133 (0.38%) to Rp35,000 per kg.
