Bali Food Prices on Sunday (21/7): Cooking Oil Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (21/7/2024) at 15.54 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, kembung fish, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, simple packaged cooking oil, medium rice, shallots, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Kembung fish experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,030 (2.83%) to Rp37,470 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of farmer-level corn decreased the most sharply by Rp70 (1.22%) to Rp5,650 per kg.
