Daily Prices of Chicken Meat at Traditional Markets in South Sumatra Province Have Decreased by 9.12% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in South Sumatra Province is recorded at Rp32,400. This price is down Rp250 compared to the previous day.

Meanwhile, compared to the last month, the daily price of chicken in traditional markets has decreased from the previous Rp35,650.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in South Sumatra over the last three months has increased by 9.27% from the previous Rp29,650.

The highest record of daily chicken price increases in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in November 2017 with an increase of 26.4%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2017 with a decrease of -21.99%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Sumatra show three commodities decreased and 15 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Grade 1 Beef, Chicken, and Fresh Broiler Chicken.
